Welcome to the World!

When baby J came into the studio for his newborn session, I had already shot his cousins newborn shoot, his aunties maternity session and his mother's maternity session at the fabulous The Humphreys Estate. Unfortunately, it's no longer hosting clients to my dismay. We started the session out with family and sibling photos. I believe we had jokingly asked his sister if she had partaken in diaper duty, to which she replied a solid no to. I don't blame you; I too am done with the part of my life and am now here for baby cuddles.

We got through 4 setups during his newborn session. Mom loved the little newborn bonnets, so we found a matching blue bear bonnet for one setup and another cream bonnet and outfit set. The cream outfit is probably one of my favorite outfits to put on baby. Super soft and gives great texture to a photo! All in all, baby J was amazing through the family shots, sibling shots and newborn portion! Napped the entire time! Some parents at the end always tell me how nervous they were about baby not sleeping during the session and I always remind them that awake photos are just as good as sleepy photos!
